Origo humane redemptionis: a new Van Doesborch-edition

In the Stadt- und Staatsbibliothek Augsburg a ‘new’ edition of Jan van Doesborch has been discovered. The title is Origo humane redemptionis. The text is available on line: http://digital.bib-bvb.de/webclient/DeliveryManager?custom_att_2=simple_viewer&pid=13400740. It has a close link to Den Oorspronck onser salicheyt which Van Doesborch published in 1517. It was presumably published after 5 Mai 1517 and before Thuys der fortunen ende dat huys der doot of 7 February 1518 (= 1519 since the new started started in March).
The edition consists of 24 unfold and unbound leaves in plano. Of these 24 leaves, 22 consist of two ‘chapter title pages’. These chapter title pages are derived from Den Oorspronck onser salicheyt. The other two pages are short illustrated abstracts in Latin of two treatises from Den oorspronck onser salicheyt. One on The seven vices and the other on The ten commandments. The sheets of Origo humane redemptionis probably never were meant to be a book. Untill 1912/13 they were stuck iinto a wooden frame, where the leaves formed three rows of eight.
